Aligning with the CDC's WSCC framework to support the K-14 "whole child," improving health, behavior, and academic outcomes, while boosting school pride and strengthening the community. We ensure the best service and quality by offering consultative partnerships, using durable materials, and providing seamless end-to-end delivery from expert design through professional installation.

Expanded Education

Expanded Education Centers encompass Physical Literacy, Sensory Development, and Outdoor Classrooms. These purpose-built spaces utilize specialized equipment and design to improve K–8 student health, learning readiness, social-emotional skills, and academic outcomes.

Outdoor Learning Environment

The Outdoor Learning Environment includes a Net+ Classroom, an internet-connected space with seating and power for CTE and general instruction. It also features shade and seating structures (canopies/pergolas) over durable benches to create a comfortable, functional outdoor meeting space.

Physical Activity Environment

The Physical Activity Environment utilizes safe surfacing like Turf or PIP rubber for fall protection. It features asphalt markings for classic games like Hopscotch and Four Square, plus instructional paths (Number/Letter, Fraction Ball) promoting skill development. Interactive multi-sensory play pods, sensory walls, and balance equipment further support movement and engagement.

Sensory Development Environment (Inclusive Playgrounds)

The Sensory Development Environment focuses on inclusive play, utilizing custom-designed play areas tailored to meet the physical, cognitive, and social needs of diverse students, often exceeding basic standards. This is achieved by installing standard playground equipment that incorporates inclusive upgrades like ramps and wider decks to enhance accessibility for all abilities. Essential sensory equipment further supports development through dedicated elements like multi-sensory play pods (auditory, tactile, visual stations), sensory walls featuring manipulative panels for fine motor skills, and balance equipment (low beams) to improve coordination and core stability.
